What can volunteers expect from Hviezdne noci festival?
- Each volunteer becomes a full member of our team, we will try to provide the best atmosphere by working together.
- The volunteer works a maximum of 6 hours per day according to the assigned function on a specific day. Pokiaľ je to možné, zmeny i jednotlivé funkcie sú plánované po dohode s dobrovoľníkmi.
- If you come to the festival with a group of friends or as a couple, we will try to make sure you have a good time together.
- Most shifts range from 2 to 6 hours.
- Each volunteer will be trained. There is a friendly atmosphere throughout the team, so don't be afraid to ask questions or come up with your own suggestions.
- Registration is via an online form, which is binding!
- After the registration form is closed, each of the registrants will receive an information email with notification and further information.
- In case of full capacity, it will not be possible to accept all applicants.
- You only become a volunteer after receiving a completed contract, which will be sent to you in an email, which is also binding!
- Volunteers will start the day before the festival, on Thursday 12.6.2025.
- On Thursday June 12, 2025 there will also be a training session and the first team meeting. You can also help with the preparatory work. Helping out before the festival is not compulsory, attending the training is.
- The work of the volunteer ends on the day of the festival. Of course, there is no limit to initiative, help is always welcome.
- Each volunteer will receive a volunteer contract. If necessary, we will also confirm your school experience.
- We will provide you with a drink and lunch so that you are neither hungry nor thirsty.
- Accommodation is provided from 12.6.2025 - 15.6.2025
- Everyone gets a ticket for the whole festival.
- As a volunteer, you will be given a clear work schedule to start your shifts and a contact list for all the people you need.
What do we expect from you?
- Volunteer must be 16 years of age by the volunteer start date of June 13, 2025.
- Active participation, pleasant demeanor, organizational assistance and teamwork.
- The volunteer must be punctual and responsible.
- As a member of the team, you should represent the festival with your performance.
- By submitting the form, you agree to abide by all the terms and conditions and your behaviour will be in accordance with the points listed.
- You must not be under the influence of alcohol or other drugs during your shift.
- You agree to be available throughout the festival, to approach your work conscientiously and to respect the requirements and regulations of the Volunteer Coordinator.
